Cumin

Made from the dried seeds of the cumin plant, this aromatic spice has a warm, earthy and slightly nutty flavour with a hint of citrus. It adds rich depth to pork and goat stews, potjiekos, mince, beans, lentils, rice dishes and roasted vegetables, and makes a wonderful addition to homemade braai rubs and spice blends.
